The Chandni Chowk (The Moonlight Square) is one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi, India.

Just being in this district is energy sapping for any westerner and even for the locals; need a nap? just drop down where ever you are and the traffic will just drive around you it would seem. There is a constant cacophony of noise and movement assaulting the senses. I have tried to capture this dynamic with intentional background movement in some of the photographs.

India has a rich and diverse heritage and this is reflected in the portraits; in India every face is so different!

For this trip I used a small Fuji digital camera and cropped square.
